It is an 18-hole 72 par golf course. The golf club was established in 1968 and the course was opened two years later. It is located in a chateaux park with many precious woody plants from all over the world. The Šilheřovice chateaux is partly open to public. Visitors of the golf resort can find accommodation in a luxurious chateax apartment. The neighboring hunting palace has been transformed into a restaurant and the green house serves as an original clubhouse. The Park Golf Club Ostrava golf course is one of the biggest in the Czech republic. It has a natural character, with greens being slightly wavy. The local 300-m-long driving range offers 10 grass teeing grounds, several putting and chipping greens and one bunker for practicing. The resort organises training courses for beginners and advanced players as well, and hosts regular city camps for children. Visitors are welcome to a rental shop with golf clubs, trolleys and a golf shop with sports equipment. Accommodation is available in a nearby hotel U svatého Jana with a fireplace and a summer terrase. Other accommodation facilities are to be found in Bohumín and Hatě.
