The ski resort Černá hora is located about 15 km from Trutnov. It offers the longest skiing slopes in the Czech republic. The black-marked slope for advanced skiers is more than 2,5 km long. There are also 7 red-marked tracks and a few blue-marked slopes for families with children and beginners. Most of the slopes are covered with artificial snow and mechanically maintained on daily basis.
In the resort you will also find a slalom track with time measure. Some skiing slopes are illuminated in the evening. Transport of visitors is provided by a cabin lift for 8 persons, a four-seat chair lift and other 11 tow lifts. The total capacity is 11000 people/hour. For the youngest skiers there are three children snowparks with moving lines/carpets, tow lifts and fun training equipment. The resorts runs a ski school for beginners and intermediate skiers, too.
In the resort there are skiing equipment rental shops, a professional service shop, free parking and other important services including dining and accommodation. The local bobsleigh track (3,5 km long) is one of the biggest attractions. Come and try the longest Czech skiing slopes situated in the beautiful scenery of the Krkonoše mountains.
